When I am asked, "What do you think of our audience?" , I answer " I know two kinds of audiences only - one coughing and one not coughing".
That is the simplest answer. What else can I say?
That disappoints the people who ask me, for they want to hear me say,
"I have never had an audience like the one in your city here"'
