More Practise Tips

Both musicians emphasized the importance of practice methods as essential to performance. Mr Sugar used the example of a basic scale to illustrate the number of paths available to inject creativity into practice. How many tools does it take to build a house? Hundreds. We must have dozens of ways to practice. We must find ways to make practice creative. Ms Korcsolan mentioned the value of practicing without the instrument in order to help with memorization. She also brought laughs to the audience when she followed up Do you own a metronome? with Do you use it? Or do you rent it out?
